Fruit Brute was one of the mascots of five monster-themed breakfast cereals produced by General Mills. It is also the name of the cereal's mascot, a humorous cartoon werewolf. The frosted fruit-flavored cereal contained lime flavored marshmallows. Fruit Brute was produced from 1975 to 1983. It was relaunched in 2013 and discontinued in the following year.
